Ohio River Cabins are located on scenic Indiana Route 66 on the bank of the Ohio River in the quite little community of Derby, Indiana. Derby is conveniently situated about half way between Louisville, Ky and Evansville, IN. just a few minutes south of I64, off State Rd. 37.

ORC has 8 unique cabins and a large lodge. Between them they can accommodate 20 individuals or couples each in private sleeping quarters. For youth groups etc., the capacity can be as many as 40 or more. Each cabin has a complete kitchen and living room areas. They all have large porches with incredible views, and many have hot tubs. There is a meeting room attached to the lodge that can accommodate over 40 people in a lecture setting. Tables can also be provided for hobbies, crafts, sewing, quilting, writing etc. There are also 4 RV sites available with power, water, and incredible views.

For those who wish to get back to simpler times, with the greatest distractions being wildlife, river barges, and the draw of the river itself ORC has much to offer. It is quiet enough to speak in a whisper or hear yourself think. We provide an chance to get away, refocus, recharge and enjoy this amazing country. Whether it is a walk along the river bank or along the paths of the Hoosier National Forest, sitting on one of the many decks or in the local park, or rising early and enjoying one of the amazing sunrises, there are myriad opportunities to view life from a different perspective.

ORC has 7 unique cabins and a large lodge for you to choose from. Each cabin has it’s own kitchen, living room, large porches, and amazing views. Many also have hot tubs and/or docks. There is a restaurant nearby, and several more in the surrounding towns. There is also a country store, in case you forgot something. There is a wonderful park located right on the river, and walking trails in the Hoosier National Forest; all within walking distance of your cabin. Indiana Route 66 is a beautiful drive along the river, and there a several special little communities for you to visit. If you happen to have a boat, there are two concrete ramps located within ½ mile.
