Property Details

Rock Ridge Lodge was built in the mid 1800's. The cabin was disassembled and reassembled by Gary Johnson on the ridge with breath taking views of the Ohio River. Cabin sleeps 12 and up to 22 with optional bunk room. One King bed, one Queen bed, five single beds and two queen sized futon couches.

Completely modern with Gas Heat, Central Air, Color TV, DVD, Stereo with CD Player, Full Kitchen, Microwave and Outdoor Charcoal Grill. Huge furnished deck, patio and Hot Tub.

7 Night stays deduct $70

Holidays are at weekend rate + $10

3 Night minimum on Holidays

Reservations recommended - 50% deposit

Deposit must be received within 5 days

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express accepted.

Over 4 guests, add $10 per night per Adult/Teen.
Children 12 and under $5 per night.
Children 2 and under N/C.
Pets add $15 per night.
Parties must be pre-arranged, if over 4 "day guests" add $5 each per day.

With 30 day notice of cancellation, deposit will apply to future stay within next 12 months less $25 cancellation fee.

Approved changes to the date of your reservation are subject to a $15 fee.

Such a peaceful area!!
A wonderful place, especially to meet our son's future in-laws. The whole clan was here or down the road in 4 other cabins-a big group....Room to play yard games and talk-eat & get to know one another.

Yes, Chistmas,it is certainly early this year, we gave each other the gift of quality time for Christmas this year.
When December rolls around, we'll have many wonderful memories of playing games,pitching bean bags, eating all our favorite foods, and being together away from the daily demands that seem to rob us of quality family time.
Mamaw & Papaw were with us. Mom & Dadd...Son & Daughter-in-law, daughter, and one son called but could not make it this year.
We had a ball! We took many pictures, told all the old stories that make one remember the good ole days minus the hardship, and gloried in God's handwork all around us. We even brought the family pet so as to complete our time together.
Next year we hope to bring a couple grandchildren and extend our family unit. In this day and age of not knowing what to buy and rushing here and there to hurry through gift exchanges, we have taken vacation time to make this years Christmas celebration extra special.
Family is most precious!

First annual Winchester family trip. We had 28 of 42 family members here. Had a wonderful time. God Blessed us with nice Weather, Fun, and Fellowship.
Great place for large families.
Hope to come back annually.

The mystic and splendor of the Ohio River Valley is truly one of Indiana's hidden treasures. It didn't take long for the 6 of us to settle in. The children took great pleasure in picking their bedrooms. The vastness and beauty of the Rock Ridge Lodge were only surpassed by the majesty of the Ohio River itself. Two days were not nearly enough to explore the Derby area. We eagerly await our return visits! Can't wait to come back and see all the different seasons and the beauty they bring.

One again we had a wonderful relaxing vacation! This was our first time staying in "Rock Ridge Lodge". The cabin was great even with the "lean". The children had a grand time exploring all 3 levels. The colored lights in the hot tub and the view of the Ohio River were amazing.

We look forward to returning very soon.
